In order to get veneers, Dr. Ulibarri will first need to remove a very small amount of enamel from the surface of the teeth that will be receiving veneers. Then, impressions are taken of your mouth, so that a dental lab can create veneers that will perfectly cover the front of your teeth.
Since it can take up to a week to make veneers, we may decide to place temporary veneers over your teeth to protect them while your permanent restorations are being made. Once your veneers have been fabricated and sent to us, you will come in and we will bond them permanently to the front of your teeth.
How long do porcelain veneers last?
With the proper care and maintenance, it’s possible for veneers to last at least 10 years or more.
